Hyundai Emerging Artist Award

These awards are dedicated to celebrating artistic excellence among high school students. Wellington Secondary Schools are invited to nominate students studying art at NCEA Level 3, or similar. When these finalists are selected we will announce them here.

Brendan Foot Supersite Peoples Choice Award

Sponsored by Lower Hutt motor vehicle dealership Brendan Foot Supersite. A panel of art experts selects 10 outstanding artworks from the show that embody the essence of the NZ Art Show. The pieces are curated in a dedicated area, and over the course of the show, attendees cast their votes for their favorite artwork: the artwork with the most votes is awarded the prize.
