In these uncertain times we hope that artists are keeping busy and distracted with their your creative endeavours.

We know that during these times, time seems to stand still  – but for artists, creativity doesn’t stop, right? So we’re forging ahead, planning the 2022 show and we want to make sure that it’s going to be another great show, just like this year’s was.

The dates for the 2022 show: June 3 – 5, Queen’s Birthday Weekend – Friday to Sunday (no show on the Monday)

The VIP preview and opening Gala will be on Thursday June 2.

Now is the time to start preparing your application for next year’s show.

The 2021 show was a resounding success, with record attendance and art sales: many artists sold out completely, which is the ultimate achievement for an art show of this size.  Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to be a part of the NZ Art Show in Wellington.

The NZ Art Show has been operating for nearly 20 years, and prides itself on being Aotearoa’s favourite art show: it’s professional and welcoming; there’s a lot of amazing art to view in a relaxed environment; and that creates an unforgettable experience that art lovers return to year after year.

Therefore, we’re looking for exceptional artwork of excellent quality that is going to delight new-comers and challenge our regular visitors:  we’re seeking  new work with a fresh and challenging viewpoint.

Introducing . . .Claire Cairns

We are delighted to welcome Claire to our small team. Claire worked at the 2021 show, and we liked her so much that we asked her to come back.

We look forward to receiving your application when they open on October 1.
