Aimee Guthrie works predominately in the medium of oil painting, and paints a variety of subjects, most recently focusing on animals, in particular, birds, cows and horses.
Aimee completed an Advanced Diploma in Art and Creativity at The Learning Connexion in 2012. She has been selected as a finalist in the Molly Morpeth Canaday Art Awards in Whakatane in 2012, 2015 and again in 2016 and regularly exhibits in the NZ Art Show in Wellington.
She lives and works in Napier/Hawke's Bay and is represented by 4 Art Sake Gallery in Ohope and Art on Tyne Gallery in Oamaru. Her work is in many private collections, including the James Wallace Trust Art Collection.
