Game on for the Rugby Sevens

A group of likely folk all dressed up and ready to party at the Wellington Sevens. I love the colours of this one and the obvious joy on the faces. Compositiion is taken from a series of photographs taken over various years by the press and other participants. It took 65 hours to complete. This panel won the Margaret Coupe Award for humour at the Mosaic Association of New Zealand exhibition 2013.
