NZ Art Show Artist Timeline 2024
This is a quick overview – full information and instructions will be in Artist Handbook for selected artists.

| November | 6 – 13 | Applicants receive selection results |
| November | 17 | All selected applicants to confirm participation by this date – to artists@artshow.co.nz Selected artists will receive invoices for exhibition fees. Selected artists to pay deposit in order to secure their spot: SAW = $100, SOLO = $50 |
| 2024 February | 20 | All 2024 artists confirmed by this date Exhibition fees for selected applicants due |
| April | 19 | SAW Submissions: all selected SAW artists’ submissions due by this date |
| May | 8 | SOLO Submissions: all selected SOLO artists’ submissions due by this date |
| May | 17 | SOLO Panel artists: Return courier tickets for unsold artworks are due. Send to NZ Art Show, PO Box 14817, Wellington 6241. Full details will be in Artist Handbook given to selected applicants |
| May | 27 | SOLO panel and SAW artists: Courier delivery of art to TSB Arena SOLO panel artists: Hand delivery of art to TSB Arena Foyer 10am – 2pm |
| May | 28 | SOLO Panel artists: Heavy sculpture artists pack in and install 11am – 1pm. Artists must book time with NZ Art Show management: artists@artshow.co.nz |
| May | 29 | SAW artists: 10am – 5pm – artists hand deliver and set up their spaces. All to finish by 5pm |
| May | 30 | • 9.00am to 11.00am – VIP Preview • People’s Choice Art Award finalists announced. • Richard T Nelson Sculpture Award recipients announced. |
| May | 30 | 5pm – NZ Art Show 2024 Gala Evening SAW artists and their paid assistant gain entry with their official passes. Other artists who wish to attend must purchase Friend Memberships. |
| May – June | 31 – 2 | NZ Art Show 2024 – Show days – daily from 10am – 6.30pm. Solo Panel artists get free entry into any ONE day. |
| June | 2 | SAW and Heavy Sculpture pack down 6.30 – 8pm |
| June | 3 | 10.00am – 11.00am – SOLO panel artists may collect unsold artwork from venue. Artists must indicate on submission form |
| June | 4 – 14 | Courier return of unsold SOLO artworks |
| July | 20 | Payments to artists for sold artworks all completed by this date |
