At NZ Art Show HQ we are making plans for the 2018 show: we’re discussing some new ideas and projects. Watch this space.

The dates for the 2018 NZ Art Show are:  
Thursday 31st May – Gala Evening;
Friday 1st – Monday 4th – Show days
Queens Birthday Weekend.

Artist applications will open in late October.

Lara Gilks

Lara is an art photographer based in Wellington, New Zealand. Through her work, she seeks to create tension and an opportunity for the viewer to reconcile elements that don’t naturally fit together.

Tetyana Khytko

Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Tetyana studied painting at the Kiev Art School. In 1987 she graduated from the Kiev State Institute of Arts with a degree in architecture, worked as an architect for while. She later changed her career to graphic design and immigrated to New Zealand in 2000.

Susan Skelton

Wellington artist Susan Skelton started painting in 2006.Her approach to art making is where colour and texture play a key element in the energy expressed in the works. Her practice explores the boundaries and tolerance of paint, resulting in explosions of colour and shape onto paper or canvas.

For artists, the NZ Art Show online gallery is a great place to get your art seen by art lovers outside of the show.

Our website averages around 4,000 visits per month – and this number more than doubles in the weeks leading up to the show each year.

We currently have a great special on: $60 for a year subscription (or $5 per month) – available until the end of this year, before the fee goes back up to $120 per year (or $10 per month). This is a great deal you should take advantage of now.
