NZ Art Show Finalist for Gold Awards 2023

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the NZ Art Show has been honored as a finalist in the prestigious Wellington Gold Awards, in the Vibrant Gold category.

The Gold awards celebrate the exceptional achievements of inspiring businesses in our beloved city. Being in the company of so many visionary ideas and remarkable success stories born right here in Wellington is truly humbling.

We owe this incredible achievement to the unwavering support of our talented artists, sponsors, friends, and all those who share a love for art. Being an integral part of this vibrant arts community for 20 years has been an immense honor, and we eagerly anticipate contributing to the arts for many more years to come

The NZ Art Show is a unique event that remains exclusive to Wellington. We made a deliberate decision to focus our efforts on this city, allowing us to devote our full attention to creating an exceptional experience for artists and visitors alike. As a result, we have become an iconic show that is cherished by the Wellington community. We take great pride in being a Wellington-based show, with a dedicated team and an idea born right here in the heart of the city.

Therefore, we encourage you to mark your calendars and reserve King’s Birthday Weekend for the highly anticipated NZ Art Show Weekend.

All the Gold Award finalists were announced at a private event held Wednesday July 19 in the vibrant atmosphere of Wellington’s Wharewaka function centre. It was a beautiful evening on Wellington’s colourful waterfront, the function was opened and closed by beautiful waiata by Amba Holley and there were smiles and laughter all around as everyone warmly congratulated each other. The winners will be announced at a function at the Embassy Theatre on August 23.

Here are some photos from last night’s event – there were lots of grins from excited finalists.

2024 will be our 21st anniversary, and we look forward to celebrating  with you.

We’re looking forward to putting on another excellent show for you next year
