A HARMONIOUS FUSION OF ART & MUSIC
An exciting new addition, adding further artistic richness to the show, is the expansion into the adjacent Shed 6, which will feature a curated selection of NZ Art Show artists, art groups, live music, DJs, art demonstrations and a new art award.
- MUSIC: live music and DJs curated by Barnaby Weir and RadioActive.FM will play music to suit the ambience
- TOI MĀORI AOTEAROA: One of New Zealand’s foremost arts organisation will be showcasing around 15 outstanding Māori artists
- TOI RAUWHĀRANGI COLLEGE OF CREATIVE ARTS (Massey University): six students will be showcasing paintings and photography
- HYUNDAI EMERGING ARTIST AWARDS: These inaugural awards will showcase up to 40 finalists from Wellington secondary schools
- DYED STUDIOS: a new artist collective featuring exciting emerging talent. They will also be doing live portraits.
- ART START: A selection of young raw talent aged 15 – 18 years will be represented by Art Start, an initiative set up to encourage artists to continue their creative journey beyond school.
