We have some important terms that you must comply with in order to exhibit with us. These terms are in place to ensure the focus of your work. We aim to showcase new and fresh pieces created with thought and attention. Additionally, it allows us to promote our artists without the potential confusion caused by simultaneous events. We encourage you to plan strategically and thoughtfully, just as we do. Our ultimate goal is to present you and your work in the best possible light.
Our terms and conditions are:
- All exhibitors must be a living New Zealand citizen or resident
- Artists may not exhibit in another large-scale art exhibition in Wellington within three months leading up to the show
- Artists may not exhibit in another large-scale art exhibition, anywhere in New Zealand, two months prior to the NZ Art Show.
- Artworks must be created for the NZ Art Show and not be exhibited prior to the NZ Art Show.
- All artworks must be the artist’s own and not a copy of another artist’s work.

Onsite Artists (most popular)
Visitors to the NZ Art Show enjoy meeting the creators. The NZ Art Show aims to support artists who are present at the event, creating new work specifically for the show, and who recognize the value of being there to connect with fellow artists and potential collectors.
Emerging Artists
The NZ Art Show aims to support new and emerging artists and serve as a launch pad for their careers. A special category has been created to make it easier for emerging artists to participate in the show without needing to be present.
Experienced | Established Artists
The NZ Art Show aims to support experienced and established artists by providing a category that accommodates their busy schedules, enabling them to participate and showcase their work at the event without needing to be present.
